About
Founders don't need more assumptions. They need better evidence.
My Biz Evidence™ was created to help founders answer one of the most expensive questions in entrepreneurship: Should I keep investing in this idea?
The platform helps founders identify assumptions, test them against real-world evidence, document what they learn, and make more informed decisions about what to validate, build, change, fund, or stop.
Built From the Experience of Building
My Biz Evidence™ grew from the founder's experience developing My Grant CoPilot, an AI-enabled funding intelligence and grant-development platform.
Building My Grant CoPilot created a second education in entrepreneurship. The experience required moving from expertise in grant development and consulting into customer discovery, product validation, AI-assisted workflows, software experimentation, platform development, pricing, positioning, accelerator participation, and the difficult decisions that come with determining what founders should — and should not — build.
Along the way, one lesson became increasingly clear: Founders can build technology faster than ever. That does not mean they should. AI and no-code development have dramatically reduced the cost of creating software. But faster building makes disciplined validation even more important.
My Biz Evidence™ emerged from that realization. Instead of beginning with "What should I build?" My Biz Evidence™ encourages founders to begin with "What do I need to prove?"
The lessons learned while developing My Grant CoPilot became part of the foundation for the Founder Evidence Sprint and the broader My Biz Evidence™ methodology.

Ira Revels is an entrepreneur, business strategist, grant professional, educator, and founder of Ira Revels Consulting, LLC.
Her work sits at the intersection of business strategy, grants and capital readiness, artificial intelligence, project management, and technology-enabled decision making. Her experience spans entrepreneurship, consulting, nonprofit and small-business support, grant development and management, technology implementation, training, and building emerging AI-enabled platforms.
She created My Biz Evidence™ after experiencing firsthand the questions founders encounter while turning expertise and ideas into products:
- Who is the customer?
- Is the problem important enough?
- What evidence supports the idea?
- What should be tested before building?
- What will someone actually pay for?
- Which feedback is signal and which is noise?
- When should a founder continue, pivot, or stop?
- What evidence will future partners and capital providers need to see?
My Biz Evidence™ turns those questions into a structured founder practice.
